It sounds too good to be true, doesn’t it? It’s not! You really can save money by having organic groceries delivered! At a farmer’s market recently, I got an amazing opportunity to try Imperfect Produce*. Have you heard of it?
One of my favorite deals at the Palo Alto farmer’s market was their “cosmetically challenge avocados” which were only something like fifty cents a pound. You know I love to save money (and check out a couple of my favorite ways to do so here and here)!
Imperfect Produce is a similar idea! It’s almost like heading to TJ Maxx or an outlet mall, but for produce! You can customize your box - organic, conventional, or a mix? You can get it weekly, bi-weekly, or skip weeks whenever you need to.
You have a specific time window during which you can choose exactly what’s in your box, and then another time window for delivery, and that’s it!
One of my favorite things about it, aside from the convenience of save money by having organic groceries delivered, and of course the financial benefits is how it positively impacts the environment!
That’s just from two deliveries so far! I can’t wait to see what they have after this coming week!
