L’Oréal EverPure Volume Shampoo & Conditioner Review!

Wow, Influenster sure seems to have the hookup lately on hair products! This time, they sent me L’Oréal EverPure Volume Shampoo & Conditioner to review! Read on to see what I thought!

You may recall that I am a happy member of Influenster. Here are some of the items they’ve sent me to review! Most recently before this, they sent me a trio of IGK products to try, which you can check out here

I was excited when I got these L’Oréal EverPure Volume shampoo and conditioner to try, for a couple reasons!

1. I travel a lot, so it was nice to see that I could get a less expensive drugstore shampoo and conditioner combination that doesn’t have sulfates in them, in case I ever forget when I am out of town! Ever since I started doing any sort of color treatments to my hair (formerly, a lot of highlights, now mostly lowlights and a touch of balayage), I have become a bit of a products snob, and try my best to only use sulfate-free products!

2. The last couple people who have cut/dyed my hair kept going on about how fine/thin it is, which is funny, because I always thought my hair was normal versus fine or thin. Note to stylists - don’t point out flaws that your client doesn’t point out first, or you will hurt their feelings!

3. This claims to have more natural ingredients!

So, did the L’Oréal EverPure Volume live up to it’s reputation? If you’re a video person, check out this video to find out!

If you’re a reader, here’s my answer!

I definitely found that I had better volume in my hair because of the L’Oréal EverPure Volume. Even if I let it air dry, the L’Oréal EverPure Volume seemed to make a positive impact - and it didn’t seem to be too offset by sleeping with my hair in a bun!

I am a stickler when it comes to liking really thick and creamy conditioners that leave my hair feeling softer, and L’Oréal EverPure Volume definitely did its job for that!

The only thing I didn’t love was the smell of L’Oréal EverPure Volume during the washing and conditioning process. It reminded me a bit of the way men’s deodorant soap smells, which is not how I’d like my hair to smell. Fortunately, as I mentioned in the video above, my hair did not smell like a man (or man’s armpit) once it dried! Additionally, and this is really a small complaint, it seemed unnecessarily difficult to close the caps on the tubes!

Although I am grateful to Influenster for sending me the free shampoo and conditioner pair to try in exchange for my honest review, I think I would only buy it again if I was traveling and forgot my normal stuff. I will use this until it is gone, though! I just will probably try to buy something with 100% natural ingredients instead!

If you’d like to try it, I’d recommend getting it on Amazon* (Shampoo here, Conditioner here, Pair here)! Plus, if Volume isn’t your issue, there are plenty of other options in the line that are likely worth trying!

Have you tried L’Oréal EverPure Volume Shampoo or Conditioner, or any of the other L’Oréal Ever products? If so, which, and what did you think? Comment below!

It means if you decide to order the product on Amazon by clicking that link, it will cost you the same price, but a small percentage will help me with the costs of my blog, and now my podcast, too! I had no idea that there were so many costs associated with podcasts until I decided to have one, but it is a labor of love that has proven totally worth it! Thank you in advance for your support! <3
