As you know, I have done makeup for quite a while. My work has been in some pretty well-known magazines, like People and Women’s Day, on most major networks, and on several celebrities - mostly athletes and sports announcers, but a wide variety nonetheless! Recently, I was proud to have my makeup artistry (well, specifically, male grooming) on my first Major Publication Cover! It was the Village Voice, a free paper in NYC that has won many awards and has been around for decades, and I was beyond excited to see my work somewhere so widespread!
I got the job for my first publication cover through one of my agents for makeup artistry. It took place at an amazing theater in SF, the Herbst theater. As you can see, it is a gorgeous building! Aren’t these behind-the-scenes photos amazing?

I think this image is about as “behind the scenes” as it gets! Shows all of the cool goings-on behind the curtain on a stage. And of course, I love the purple!
