The fact that it’s Friday automatically means it’s time for Bold Moves Podcast Fearless Fridays #65: Buddha’s Challenge! It’s also October 28th specifically, which means it’s my spotlight day for a Blog Hop! For those of you who are blog hoppers, thanks for making this special stop! Here’s my “about me” entry (which, as an added bonus, has a couple recipes!) from when I did the hop last year… The info’s still pretty much the same, but as you will soon see, I’ve started a podcast last month - and got engaged in March - those are the only major updates!! Whether you’re here for the blog hop or not, or this is your first Fearless Friday or not, for today….
Here’s a preview for you!
So I’ve got that going for me… Which is nice! 😜
As you saw in the post announcing Elle’s challenge, I already completed it before I posted it!
So, it’s time to get DIRECTLY to Buddha’s challenge, shall we?
Of course, as always, you can listen to the podcast on iTunes, Stitcher, or in the embedded player below on this website! But be warned, as I tried to warn you in my tweet above - I have some issues with speech in this episode, and use some pretty creative vocabulary!
After we chatted, Buddha sent me a text with this photo:
So, that’s the REAL quote… But the one I looked up and found was close!
Now, I know that this podcast is only over a month old and I am still working on building a loyal following, but I would LOVE it if you could help me spread the word! You can do so by sharing the episodes or blog posts, sharing images, leaving me ratings on your podcast players, or… In this situation, you can do so by using the “#BoldMovesFearlessFridays” hashtag on social media when you share your documentation of this week’s challenge, which lends itself beautifully (at least it hopefully does, depending on the “nature” around you) to some gorgeous instagram-worthy photos! So let’s see them! 😜 Now before it gets TOO cold is the perfect time for it - let’s see some beautifully colored leaves!
Don’t forget to go back and enter Monday’s giveaway, if you haven’t already. You could win one of Buddha’s gorgeous prints! This is my favorite:
In case you couldn’t tell from the fact that I used it on the giveaway image!
I really hope to see some of the #BoldMovesFearlessFridays popping up soon! But either way, have an amazing weekend, don’t forget to be bold, and have a sparkly day!
xoxo,
Mandie

Great to meet you here. I visiting from the blog hop. I’ve been blogging for a few years now and just started a YouTube channel to challenge myself in another medium. I think it’s great that you’re doing podcasts too so I’ll check you out and spread the word.
I’all also follow your blog - mine is http://Runwright.net - and your YouTube - my channel is Runwright Reads - so we’ll stay connected.
All the best with your promotion.
Thank you so much! I will definitely check you out! <3
I will have to check out your podcast on my commute home. I’ve been thinking about starting one. Nice to meet you through the hop!
Thanks for visiting! If you listen, I’d love to know what you think! If you ever have any questions on podcasting, let me know and I will be happy to try to help, even though I am relatively new at it! <3
How cool that you have a podcast! I love that quote about nature. Sadly, as a NYer one of the sacrifices I make is a regular interaction with nature ?
Better make sure to not get too detached from it though…I don’t want my heart to harden!
Thank you! If you ever listen, I’d love to hear what you think! There’s always central park! 😉 Thank you for visiting! <3
I am excited to start listening to your podcast! I also appreciate the reminder to live more boldly. It is something that I want to push myself to do and be more often. Thank you!

I can’t wait to hear what you think! Yes, that is my whole main goal. I think too many people fall into a rut and do what is expected instead of what could make them really happy. Time to challenge that! Thanks for visiting! <3
I love that you have your own podcast-that is pretty awesome! I think being close to nature truly helps me stay focused and calm- your pictures are breath taking!

Thank you! It has been so fun doing it! More work than I expected, but so worth it so far! I think you mean Buddha’s pictures? Or did you explore my portfolios? Either way, thanks so much for visiting and for the kind words! There’s still time to win a print from Buddha’s collection on last Monday’s post until the end of the night! <3
That is awesome you do a podcast now!!!! Can you believe I”ve never listened to a podcast before?
I know what they are, but oddly I’ve never really listened to one, yup I am missing out! I will definitely help you spread the word, I’m copying your tweet above right now to share!!
Be one with nature, one of my favorite sayings. Depending on the person it is interpreted different ways. But we live in such a beautiful world, and sometimes we need to be reminded of it so we can get out and enjoy all there is to offer and learn to respect and love nature and the environment so others can continue to enjoy it for futures to come!

Thanks for creating the blog hop, visiting, and sharing that tweet! I am not surprised - I think podcasts are still working their way to becoming more mainstream! I’d be honored to be the first one you listen to! And yes - I love how people can interpret things their own way and make the challenges suit them! That’s a great perspective! I have looked at sustainability from a somewhat separate lens, and I love your idea of combining the two! <3
I totally agree with “be one with Nature.” That’s why the bulk of my exercise is done outside…I’d rather be outside, in the fresh air, with the blue sky above me than trapped in a room with a bunch of equipment. 😉
That’s awesome! I have had some great PiYo and yoga sessions outside, and LOTS of walking, but since I love weight lifting, I guess I am an inside exerciser! I would love to do more yoga outside, and maybe someday work out at muscle beach so I can combine two loves - haha! 😉 Thanks for visiting! <3
Congrats on getting your podcast up and running. That has to take a lot of dedication! I’m going to listen next time I hop on the treadmill. That is usually when I get my listening in!
Thank you! Yes, it is more work and more time consuming than I had initially imagined, but I feel like it is worth it! I can’t wait to hear what you think! Thanks for visiting!
This is awesome! And I really like that quote. Being connected to nature is really important to me and I love that running allows me to maintain that connection.

So glad you like it! I hope to someday be able to connect to nature while running. Since I am not a runner at all, I usually connect to panic - haha! I think as I get better with meditation, that will help a bit! <3 Thanks for visiting!
I don’t know how much nature I can connect with when I walk downtown but I listen to the sounds around me instead of music.
Do you have any parks downtown where you are to get away from the hustle and bustle a bit? Thanks for visiting! <3
Sounds like a great podcast, will have to check it out! Congrats on getting a podcast up and running, I know it’s something I’d like to do one day.
