This week’s guest, for Bold Moves Podcast Episode 153 Asehli Howe has made some bold moves! Asehli took a job at a political reporting law firm after college and hated everything about it. After only six months, She paid off her student loans and quit. She didn’t have any idea what she was going to do but knew that she would never work in an environment where she was disrespected again. After multiple jobs, from teaching at a summer camp to canvassing for Amnesty International, Asehli still couldn’t seem to find her place. Then, she signed up to volunteer with SF Women Against Rape, met Drusilla Cowan in the training to become a rape crisis counselor, and shortly after agreed to co-found Survivor Alliance. Since then it’s been a wild ride. Now, they are on a mission to engage society in a positive sexual revolution. They are changing the dialogue about all types of sex, the good and the bad, and giving people a place to finally ask the questions they’ve been silenced from bringing up.
