Mary moved to New York when she was 23, with no job, and only $2,000. After 7.5 years in publishing, Mary moved again, this time to Portland, ME. In Maine, Mary made a third bold move to try life as a freelance event producer. After about a year of that, Mary landed her dream job (and realized freelance life was not for her) as the Manager of Special Events and Sponsorships at WinterKids - a non-profit in Maine. Now, that’s not all, in Mary’s spare time she is building her Events Coaching business, helping coaches plan their own live events, AND selling jewelry on Etsy. She is also the Board president of a non-profit called The Maine Women’s Conference. If you haven’t, definitely go back and check out Monday’s episode.
